Cruising-along Posted April 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2012 Our cruise will end in Montreal and we'll be staying one night at Spring Hill Suites on Saint-Jean Baptiste. Does anyone have a ballpark figure of what a taxi will cost? Thanks!

DaveOKC Posted April 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2012 Cost about $10. You can even walk it, its about 1/2 mile. Springhill is a great place, a bit small but great staff and nice rooms. DaveOKC

Cruising-along Posted April 23, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted April 23, 2012 Thank you everyone, I appreciate your responses. We're traveling now and so internet isn't handy and I didn't know the name or address of the pier either. Dave, thank you for the info about the hotel! :)

Dave, thank you for the info about the hotel! :) Be sure to stop in and see the Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal - it is about 2 blocks from your hotel. You get a good free breakfast at Spinghill, but Hortons is about 2 blocks away - check it out. Lots of fine dining options in the area. We did a Polish place and a steakhouse pub right on the corner from Sprinhill (just roll down the hill as you exit the hotel and stop at the corner). alpal1993 Posted April 24, 2012 #9 Share Posted April 24, 2012 just received a reply back from my hotel spokesperson.Looks like we will have to take a taxi both ways.No limos to be had during Grand Prix weekend.Too much luggage to even consider the bus.Our hotel provides lockers for our valuables and will store our luggage until check in time.Counting down 43 more to go.
