Maybe a silly question, but here goes anyway...We will be vaca in Bermuda this July. Someone posted a picture of a jelly fish on a beach. Are there jellyfish in the waters off Bermuda in July? Thanks.

My understanding is they're more commonly, although not exclusively, found in the spring to early summer.

Only time we saw them was the end of April. Never saw them in July/August/September/October

I stepped on one at the end of June in horseshoe bay and it hurt, that was 30 years ago and only time I ever got stung by one.

Just saw a review on the RCL boards from someone who visited last week ( April 18th) and they had pictures of them washing up on shore.

Take your gear. Since they are dependent on the tides, wind, etc. and there's no way of knowing if you'll see any or not, you'll be kicking yourself if you don't have your gear and there aren't any.:)

I read on an information post about Bermuda by a travel writer that storms bring them in and that can happen at different times of year.

Bring your gear. If they wash up on the south shore snorkel the other side of the Island ( Tobacco bay ) or the other way around as they are blown by the wind.
