I will be cruising to Alaska on the ms Volendam in just over a week. I am wondering what new movies are playing on board?

I don't know if anyone can answer your question specifically, but normally, the movies that they show are mostly new releases (ie - just released on dvd) so very current:)

On the Oosterdam last year, the one movie I remember watching was "Little Fockers", which had just been released on DVD in early April. Check the daily schedules, since they'll list the movies & showtimes there, and plan on arriving early. At least on Oosterdam, the theater only seats about 30 (but the seats are comfy).

Movies shown have typically been released within the last year or two.

 

The movies are always of a decent selection.

And they have a great DVD collection which you can watch in your room.
