Does anyone out there know how many ships a departing out of the port of miami today...sunday the 13th of MAY...IS IT TRUE THAT THERE IS ONLY THE CARNIVAL GLORY THERE TODAY...i find this very hard to believe...thanks...l

Less ships are using POM as many have gone up the coast to FLL. Having said that, this is the thin season for ships out of South Florida as many of the winter ships have either gone back to Alaska or headed back over to Europe.

One ship today but three ships yesterday.

We were in Miami today to visit our daughter's family on Fisher Island and saw just one Carnival ship there. It left the port about 1:30 or 2:00. These days more ships use Port Everglades than Port of Miami.

Under Miami there is a calander of ships sailing out of Miami.

 

Most have left for Europe and Alaska for the season.

 

Only the Majestu of the Seas, Norwegian Sky and several Carnival ships seem to be in Miami this month.

 

Similar situation in FLL. Many ships left for Europe leaving just a few like the Oasis/Allurie and a few others remaining.

 

The Miami webcam is new and nice to have.

Sunday's usually a pretty low embarkation day...
