Sea View smoking area Westerdam

I've read in various posts that the area around the Sea View pool and bar are smoking areas. Other posts have mentioned that the smoking is only on one side of the ship. On the Westerdam, is it port or starboard side? We have the starboard aft corner wrap booked on the navigation deck. Just wondering if the smoke from the deck above us might be a problem? Thanks!

The ashtrays will be immediately seen on the smoking side. The sides change from time to time so just look for the ashtrays.

 

I doubt you will be bothered by smoke when the ship is moving. When it is not moving you will most likely be in ports.a

IIRC, the bar is on the starboard side. Have checked the deck plans?

I do agree that when the ship is moving -- the smoke will not be a problem.

One thing we have noticed around the aft pool -- some pool will move the ash trays wherever they want to. So it doesn't mean that everyone will be on the one side smoking.

Cigarette smoke from a deck above you will not travel down a deck even when the ship is docked.
