Hi all,

I am new to cruising and we are doing the 14 nights to Hawaii from LA. just want to know if they still serve lunch on the ship whilst on port days. just in case we do some short excursions and don't want to buy our lunch elsewhere.

Thanks :)

Yes...while all eating venues may not be open, there will be at least 1 eating option on the ship while in port. The bars will be open, as well as the pool...and some activities will still take place. Also, on port days, there are usually some spa 'specials"...discounts!

Think of the ship as your floating hotel...come and go as you wish!

The grill and pizzeria are by the outdoors pool on the Lido deck. When we were on the Golden Princess, we often would get a grilled chicken sandwich from the grill. The Horizon Court (the buffet) will also be open every day for lunch (it's open from breakfast time to late at night). Another place to get food is the International Cafe, which isn't an enclosed eatery, but a display case with all sorts of food and desserts. It's located on the Piazza in the Grand Atrium.
