mopartime Posted June 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2012 RCI website says no shorts, swim suits or flip flops in dining room. How about dress sandals to wear with formal or casual clothing. And how about capri pants are those acceptable?

And how about capri pants are those acceptable? Type of shoe doesn't really matter. The Main thing is "no shorts, swim suits or flip flops " . Especially for men in the MDR at supper. cb at sea Posted June 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2012 "flip flops" are rubber shoes you wear to a pool or beach. Thong sandals are not "flip flops", even if they sound like it! Perfectly acceptable! Capris are what the majority of women will be wearing! And, those "dress codes" are for dinner....flip flops and shorts (no bathing suits, tho!) are fine at breakfast and lunch! klauer Posted June 22, 2012 #6 Share Posted June 22, 2012 Where did you get the idea that dress sandals might not be allowed? I have never seen that on a cruise ship or at a restaurant/hotel dining room.
cruisegirl1 Posted June 23, 2012 #7 Share Posted June 23, 2012 To be honest, flip flops will likely be no problem, even for dinner, on RCCL. m
suezyq50 Posted June 24, 2012 #8 Share Posted June 24, 2012 I have yet to see any turned away for what they are wearing/shoes. No need to be concerned.
