Decisions, Decisions

OK, so we are booked on Freedom in September, but having a hard time waiting. Since cruising is the only vacation my husband will agree to, I am looking at another next month (July). So, my options are Radiance or Oasis. Is this a silly question? Is there just no comparison? If you had the opportunity, what would you choose?

Been to Alaska but went in May a couple of years ago and I think it was just too early. Did not see any wildlife and was sick on the first half. (I was thinking this itinerary of just sailing south would be less choppy?) As far as the price difference, Oasis is about 200.00 more, but less hassle. Alaska; transfers from Anchorage, one way airfares (Seward and Vancouver), transfer to Vancouver or BLI. A cruise tour would be great, but we only have a week because we are taking another week in September.

Oasis, definitely. You should wait and do a cruisetour of Alaska when you have time.

Alaska is wonderful, but having sailed both Royal Caribbean and Princess, I'd pick Princess or Holland America because of the Glacier Bay scenic cruising. I'd also vote for a CruiseTour with Denali. Actually, we did McKinley Lodge, Denali and Fairbanks. We cruised the end of August, and the leaves were starting to change in Denali. Also, very cold for us. I purchased a Fleece vest in Skagway, and pretty much lived in it till Fairbanks.

Right now, we're pretty exclusive with Royal Caribbean, but we do branch out every once in a while.
