cajun-crazy Posted February 19, 2008 #176 Share Posted February 19, 2008 I tried to click on your signature, but the link was not working. Can you take a look? I think he misspelled it. Put an "i" between the e and g (sleigh).
txchelle Posted February 21, 2008 #177 Share Posted February 21, 2008 Karen I would LOVE to read your blog if you want to email the link to me :-) You know, I'm getting so many questions about Seattle, that I'm thinking about doing the same thing for our city (actually, I already do, in that I have a tourist/visitor blog for the city, but can't post it here because I happen to be a travel agent on the side from my nursing job). This is helpful information for just about everyone. Great idea.
picky2yet Posted February 21, 2008 #178 Share Posted February 21, 2008 Thanks for posting all the websites and information on these cities. I've checked out several of them and found very useful information. It is AWESOME what you did.

booth22 Posted November 6, 2008 Author #182 Share Posted November 6, 2008 hey gang, haven't been online in a while and just checking in to say Howdy to all those fellow cruisers! Hope to be back on the seas up to Alaska soon!
Grego Posted November 6, 2008 #183 Share Posted November 6, 2008 hey gang, haven't been online in a while and just checking in to say Howdy to all those fellow cruisers! Hope to be back on the seas up to Alaska soon! Even though we loved Alaska, the thought of going there "soon" doesn't sound exciting right now (other than maybe dropping in on Sarah and thanking her for making it exciting). macnife Posted November 7, 2008 #184 Share Posted November 7, 2008 I am new here so not sure if this has been discussed recently. Noticed at the beginning of this thread was a discussion on a coupon book that was handed out at the pier in Seattle and Vancouver. I also noticed this thread was dated from 2005. Are these coupon books still being handed out and if so what type of coupons do they contain? Any info much appreciated!

nonrev1 Posted November 10, 2008 #191 Share Posted November 10, 2008 I love the cheat sheet! Maybe someone can help me .....we want to go to Butchart Gardens while we are in Victoria. I see that you can take the #75 bus - how far is the walk from the cruise terminal to the bus stop? Thank you!
Budget Queen Posted November 11, 2008 #192 Share Posted November 11, 2008 I love the cheat sheet! Maybe someone can help me .....we want to go to Butchart Gardens while we are in Victoria. I see that you can take the #75 bus - how far is the walk from the cruise terminal to the bus stop? Thank you! You have a long walk from the ship, but a shuttle is available, or cab. You will need Ca money. From the Inside Harbor, the pick up is on Douglas. Haven't been on the bus in a few years, but a MacDonald's used to be across the street. Drop of is right at the gardens. You would need a full day in port to use this in my opinion.
nonrev1 Posted November 11, 2008 #193 Share Posted November 11, 2008 Thanks! Yes, we are in Victoria all day..... Are the shuttles waiting by the terminal and are there ATM's available by the ship?

msar1076 Posted September 28, 2011 #196 Share Posted September 28, 2011 Thank you! If you're in SF you have to go to Alcatraz. I booked it for my husband. I didn't have any interest but thought he'd enjoy it. It was fantastic. My teenage boys liked it too. Not to be missed.
booth22 Posted September 28, 2011 Author #197 Share Posted September 28, 2011 Agreed- another thing for any Disney fans to do- the Walt Disney Family Museum is located in SF and is an amazing place for fans (and non-fans too) to get a real look at the story behind the mouse!
