Waterproof shoes

Where do you buy the spray to waterproof your shoes? Can you spray regular good leather athletic shoes?

I would just search Amazon.com for "shoe waterproofing" and then carefully read people's reviews to see which product works better. You can always search for that brand in other stores, if you don't want to buy it online.

Whether it will work depends on the shoe. Some shoes have vents in them. The waterproofing spray won't keep water from coming in the vents.

[SIZE=4]The spray it can be purchased at many shoe stores, sporting goods shops and in the likes of WalMart's sporting goods department. It will work well on leather shoes, low cut hikers, and leather tennis shoes. As an example I sprayed a pair of Columbia low cut hikers with a fair amount of mesh several times before going to Alaska 2 year ago and they are still waterproof.[/SIZE]

Scotch-Gard will work fine on shoes & jeans. About $6 at Wal Mart. And if you have been living right you won't need anyway.;)
