catl331 Posted August 25, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2012 He is a great CD. Fun loving and friendly. When he is in a room, you know he is there. You can't miss him!! He was on our March Maasdam cruise.
Rare richwmn Posted August 25, 2012 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2012 I also think he is one of the better Cruise Directors. He was on the Maasdam for the FLL - Montreal Relocation in April and May. He was always out and about, approachable and talking to guests. He usually did one of the trivia contests each day and handled it well. Also, his voice was clear over the PA system, he was prepared and the announcements were not overdone. Rich

Cruising-along Posted August 25, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 25, 2012 We were on the Maasdam in April-May with Rich and agree, he's one of the best out there. I was impressed with his friendliness and sense of humor.
andeesue Posted August 25, 2012 #8 Share Posted August 25, 2012 Must agree with the other posters, CD Anthony was a joy. We sailed with him on the Panama Canal Holiday cruise. Loved his interaction with passengers and great demeanor.

terrascape Posted August 29, 2012 #12 Share Posted August 29, 2012 We were on the Statendam for the most recent Seward to Vancouver cruise ending 8/26. Yes, Anthony was the CD. He had been aboard for two weeks. Combine him with hotel manager Bart Groenveld and Captain Frans Consen, we could not have asked for a better combination of top staff to make this a perfect cruise. All three could be found around the ship at various times every day taking time to interact with the passengers. As an FYI, the HM is moving to the Amsterdam in a couple weeks for the Trans-Pacific cruise and Captaion Consen will begin his time off on Septemebr 16. Happybeb Posted August 30, 2012 #14 Share Posted August 30, 2012 Can you tell me where CD Steve James is? We had the pleasure of being with him on our last cruise in April and thought he was one of the best ever.
