SBwannaB Posted August 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2012 Wondering if there is a variety of cheeses on the buffet? We will be getting the wine package and would like to bring cheese back to the room to enjoy with it.
weltek Posted August 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2012 If I recall, it's approximately three different cheeses. A cheddar and swiss, I believe are standard during the day, but I think there was one other. Particularly during dinner I think they may offer one that's nicer. I just recall being pleasantly surprised a few times. Sorry I can't offer more detail.
Cubechick Posted August 28, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 28, 2012 At the buffet there are usually several blocks of cheese to choose from. I've seen cheddar, swiss, gouda, Boursin, blue cheese, brie etc at any given time. We often make a cheese plate and bring it back to the room. Rare mitsugirly Posted August 28, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 28, 2012 Plenty of cheese on every cruise I've been on. I notice because it's one of my daughters favorite snack foods (along with the jello). :D Agree with Peg...don't forget the pretzel rolls! :)
jdvmd Posted August 28, 2012 #8 Share Posted August 28, 2012 Lots of choices. Also have some nuts, dried fruits like apricots. Sometimes I can find prosciutto and grilled balsamic veggies.

I frequently make up a cheese and cracker plate, with nuts dried fruit etc. I'm pretty sure you can order it in the MDR too.
