soccersharon Posted September 7, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2012 We booked our first Lido cabin on the Liberty for December. From everything I have read, it is a very quiet deck and you can't hear noise from the Lido. Really looking forward to it!

eddiesgal Posted September 7, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2012 DH and I have done the Lido Deck twice and loved it both times. It's so close to the pool and of course the breakfast buffet:p
JinxyB Posted September 7, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2012 I stayed in a forward lido balcony on the Liberty and never heard any additional noise besides door slamming, etc. Loved being so close to pool, food, etc

hog88 Posted September 7, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 7, 2012 Had a balcony on the Lido last year while on the Liberty and loved it. Best place to stay IMHO.
SASA13 Posted September 7, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 7, 2012 We were in cabin 9289 ( 2nd cabin from the door/entrance to the pool area) and we heard nothing at all. When on the balcony, we could hear the DJ playing and we loved it. We book Lido on every ship that has cabins on that deck. You will love it :)

rajones007 Posted September 12, 2012 #11 Share Posted September 12, 2012 I'm glad somebody asked this question. It was one of thousand I had. I always thought cabins close to that end, and close to the elevators, would always be exposed to the noise of people coming in from the lido deck/pool and getting on the elevator. Canadian_J Posted September 12, 2012 #12 Share Posted September 12, 2012 Never noticed elevator noise. The way the hallways are configured, the noise doesn't flow. Also, it's the largest bank of elevators on the ship. Meaning people aren't hanging around that area long. And neither will you! :) very efficient! Rare Buffettfan 225 Posted September 12, 2012 #13 Share Posted September 12, 2012 Only one cabin area lido that was noisier -those that intersect with elevators-approx 9273,9274 area. It is not the elevator noise, rather the lido deck music flows straight through when glass doors open and into this area, also late at night we could hear the music from the atrium coming upward. We had a cabin closer to the pool- it was awesome location! Just avoid teh few on either side of the above mentioned for music noise.
lola61 Posted September 12, 2012 #14 Share Posted September 12, 2012 Had a lido on the Liberty, was awesome. A few steps from the pool and elevator, never a noise issue. Have a lido balcony on the Breeze in Jan, can't wait:D
Rudyard Posted September 12, 2012 #15 Share Posted September 12, 2012 This is just what I came here today hoping to read. :) I got an e-mail today to move up to a higher deck for $20. Moved up two decks to a balcony on the Lido deck. For the price I couldn't pass it up.
