We were planning a cruise on the Volendam May 2013.

 

Just wondering about port days.

 

Juneau 1pm - 10:30

 

Skagway 7 am - 9pm

 

Ketchikan 10 am - 6pm

 

What time do you actually get off the ship and when do you need to get back on

Expect that you will be able to get off pretty close to the time stated. HAL's policy is you must be on board by 30 minutes prior to scheduled sailing. This is a fleetwide policy, not just Alaska, and is discussed on the HAL board regularly.

As soon as the ship is tied off and the gangway is set up, you can leave the ship. This usually only takes a few minutes.

That is a nice itinerary.
