Hey everybody!
I want to know about the Dec 5th, 2004 - 15 day Hawaii cruise on the Infinity. I emailed Celebrity and they said it was sold out already!
I find this preposterous, How did that happen!?
Maybe some cruise companies bought all the cabins and there are some cabins availalbe????
If anyone sees this cruise on sale anywhere - let me know! Has anyone signed up for this cruise? I wanted to go! Darn it! Thanks - Grace

Hi
I am not on that cruise but you might want to check out the "ROLL CALL" board. Lots of folks on there...maybe they can give you some insight.
It seems this cruise has been sold out for a while now.

Next up...HORIZON Sept 18th to Bermuda!

You have obviously picked a popular cruise!

A couple of thoughts. Why not try a search on Google or another search engine with the words "Infinity" and "12/5/04" to see if it throws up any availability. The other thing you could do is wait and take a gamble that the nearer it gets to paying the final amount, the more likely some will cancel and cabins may show up then.

We were unable to get on that cruise, but our TA "watched" for an opening (which happens when blocks are released) and we were able to reserve a cabin. As it get closer, I am sure that you will also. If you can wait, when final payment is due you will, I'm sure, be able to reserve.

It seems strange that a Dec. 5-20 cruise would be sold out already since, as a former TA, I know that is about the slowest time of the year for cruises and travel in general. That is normally the time when you can get the lowest price. Perhaps there is a very large or several large groups (company incentives, etc.) on the cruise.

If you are a former TA, then you would know that this is a once in a lifetime itinerary that Celebrity is not going to continue to offer! DUH, that is why it is sold out so fast!

The 12/5 Hawaai cruise has been sold out for months. It's no wonder, with the round trip from San Diego, great itinerary and fantastic price that it sold out so fast. HAL's price for exactly the same cruise is triple what Celebrity charged.

It's possible that after final payment is due that some cabins might open up, but the cruise has been "code red", or "red flagged" due to Celebrity overselling it. Good luck.

Thanks everyone! I will keep my eyes open and talk to a few TA's I know to keep an eye on it too. Why don't more ships do this iteniery? I hate riding the bus to and from Ensenada - I've done it 2 times, back and forth! I just found this cruise in the Celebrity Magazine, I got in the mail, the day I wrote this message! Like I said before - Darn!

If you don't mind going on Princess, they have a 15 day roundtrip leaving the same day, Dec.5, as the Infinity. I booked the Celebrity cruise in October,2003 after I saw it mentioned on this board. Try Roll Call and see if you get some help there. The people on this board are wonderful about helping others with information. Good Luck! Hope to see you on the cruise.

ghjohson,
If you look down the page you will see a post from ShipsAhoy saying he just cancelled 2 rooms on the Dec. cruise. Might want to check it out quickly.
