Gigi11111 Posted October 10, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 10, 2012 This will be our 1st Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Oasis in April. I see we are in Nassau 7-2 and we probably won't get off the ship until about 9. Where we don't have a lot of time there I was wondering what we should do. Would it be worth getting a pass to Atlantis for such a short period of time? Any help appreciated

You can snorkel, swim with dolphins, hang out on a beach, go where the locals go and eat what the locals eat, hop the jitney to the Daq Shaq, see the Queen's Staircase & Ardastra Gardens, go scuba diving, go kayaking, go on a booze cruise, go sailing, go parasailing, meet some sharks, go shopping. Reading here, the Atlantis, is not worth it. :) http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=

cb at sea Posted October 10, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 10, 2012 Nope....a waterpark (Atlantis) is waaaay overpriced. I don't know if you have waterparks in Maine, but there are so many in our area, that the charm has faded! There are beaches and shopping and tours.....all at no cost or reasonable prices! Get a guidebook on Nassau....it will help you make the most of your short time there! Libraries have them!
