Cruise number 2!

Just got off Freedom 9 days ago and I booked Carnival Dream (April 27, 2013) early this morning.

 

My question is, I didn't get any confirmation e-mails or anything from Carnival. I don't remember how long it took to get it last time. Does it normally take a day or two? Or could the storm be holding things up on the processing side?

Normally, I receive a confirmation email immediately, whether I book with a PVP, on on my own via the website. Can you see your booking online - under "Manage my Cruise"? You may have to add your booking to your profile.

I booked mine Friday and it took a few hours to process and get an email, though I had a confirmation number and whatnot through the website.

Yeah I can see the booking and everything on Carnival's site, just didn't get anything through e-mail. I won't worry about it.

I would call and ask they send the confirmation email.. I like to have it.

 

I get mine immediately. Sandy would not stop emails or how long it takes to get them.

I've had them take a couple of hours.. mine have always showed up .. Happy Cruising ..

Personally I wouldn't worry about it too much. As long as it's showing up in your account online. If nothing else, you can always print that page for your records.

When I booked myself online my last cruise - never did get an email confirmation, never got confirmations when I made payments, never got squat. I did; however, get the survey after the cruise.

 

I used a PVP this go around to book and got a confirmation right away. Get confirmations with every payment, get "book excursions early" emails, get all kinds of email from them. Wonder if I will get a survey?

 

No rhyme or reason to why the variance.

 

edit to add: ok I lied. I did get two emails when they changed the itinerary on my last cruise - one for each change.

One of my cruises I've never received one email on it. I placed the booking number in "My cruises" with my online account it showed there. Is weird thought I've never gotten any emails on it. They took all my payments thought without issue. :)

I booked my first Carnival cruise a few weeks back and never received an email confirmation. I can see my reservation fine but just never received an email.
