Port of Miami to Bayside and then MIA Airport

I am looking for the easiest and least expensive way to get from the Celebrity Reflection to Bayside Marketplace for a couple of hours and then to the Miami Airport. We will have two large suitcases and a carry on. Any suggestions? Do they store suitcases at Bayside?

Taxi is about $10 to Bayside then about $25 to airport

I read on another thread about storing luggage but have no personal experience

LHT28 has it right about taxis and the fares.

 

I too read that someone thought they might hold the luggage.

 

If this was me I would call Bayside to find out if the know.

Although cabs at the port legally have to take you to Bayside, they won't be thrilled about it. That's the shortest possible fare in return for their wait in line at the port.

They will still take you to Bayside as they will take you from one terminal to the other. Just tip them nicely.

Their website lists a Coat/Package Check; its worth a call to see if they allow short-term luggage storage.

We did not have a problem we just waited for the crowd to thin ..the taxi guy took us to Bayside without a grumble ;)

Vintage luggage Store located on the 1st floor, Zone D, near the Disney

Store

The cost at Vintage Luggage near the Disney Store is $1.00 per bag/per hour.

The cost at The Market at the Main Entrance near GUESS is $4.00 per bag.

You do not need to call ahead, just show up and drop off your bags.

We had a great time at Bayside. We also went to the Miami Aquarium but was very rushed and not enough time to make it worth it. Stay at Bayside and relax, shop, eat.......:)

then use rail to get to the airport. All public transit, all affordable - BUT you must be able to haul your own luggage. The steps onto the trolley are steep.

We did the valet luggage service and it was soooooo worth it. It will depend on what time your flight is, if it will be available to you. You need to sign up for the service at Guest Services. Don't wait till the last minute. I think our deadline was Tuesday or Wednesday of the cruise.;)
