Vonnegut Posted November 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2012 I just put a deposit on cabin 1506 on Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas. Has anyone had this cabin? Main concern is that the view from the balcony may be obstructed somewhat because it is so close to the bridge. Any info would be appreciated. cb at sea Posted November 27, 2012 #3 Share Posted November 27, 2012 While you may not be able to see directly forward....no one else can, either! And, unless YOU'RE steering the ship, it won't matter! You'll have an almost 180 degree view...plenty to see...no worries!
Langley Cruisers Posted November 27, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 27, 2012 I will give you my experience as we had cabin 1000 on Brilliance, her sister ship. Now, this one is even closer to the bridge, and we loved it! It was exciting being close to the bridge, gotta tell you. The Captain waved to us every day. It was super quiet in the hall because no one came that far down the hall. All bridge crew use the "inner" hallways. We loved this cabin. Having said that, it definitely is your decision and yes, the view is somewhat obstructed but it's not a deal-breaker, in my opinion. It's a very long walk "home", though!
