That's not very informative. Care to share some details?

To OP, there is already a thread going about this New Drink Package - http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1736593&page=6

Awesome to others but not necessary all, similar to the Unlimited Soda Package offered by NCL on the Gem, the UBP for 8 days worth of convenience n (value ??) - for the entire cruise - beers, spirits, wines & cocktails for 2 adults in our cabin would be $901.60 (including a mandatory 15% gratuity) and for the full 9 days at $1,014.30 ****

It must be purchased on day 1 or day 2 by all adults of drinking age occupying the stateroom. Thanks & no thanks, NCL - it's not for us but for those who drink all day & night long - it's great from start to finish - cheers & bottoms up! :D ;)

Imagine what the final charges for the onboard account would be like ... talk about out-of-pocket expenses on cruising for a good time.

**** The math = $49 p/p daily x 8 or 9 days x 2 person plus 15% gratuity added

:) we're on the Jewel and will bring wine aboard in our carry-on. How many bottles are we allowed-

and is there a corkage charge for in room drinking-not in the MDR-

Thanks in advance

$15 per bottle, regardless of where you plan to drink it. We had some in our cabin, and some stored on the ship for dinner.

ETA - bring as many bottles as you want.

thanks for the input-cheap wine can become a little costly-probably still

cheaper thsn the wine served onboard.

There is no limit to the amount of wine you can bring on. The corkage fee is $15 per 750-ml bottles. Larger bottles incur a larger corkage fee. No boxed wines are allowed.
