Iluvcruising2 Posted December 25, 2012 Author #151 Share Posted December 25, 2012 Back onboard, we were definitely hungry! Didn't eat much since breakfast, which was good, since we had been eating too much! Dinner menu:

Iluvcruising2 Posted December 25, 2012 Author #157 Share Posted December 25, 2012 Beef Stroganoff. This was delicious. I remember we had it on the Voyager in June and it was quite good. This time round, it was really delicious!

Iluvcruising2 Posted December 25, 2012 Author #162 Share Posted December 25, 2012 On the cruise ship, I like to have coffee after lunch and dinner. In the past, I used to add milk and sugar. One thing I learnt after a couple of cruises. Just drink the coffee black, no sugar, no milk. It helps cut down on some calories. Take the black coffee with dessert. The desserts are already sweet. No need for the coffee to be sweet too! :)
Iluvcruising2 Posted December 25, 2012 Author #163 Share Posted December 25, 2012 Taken from Deck 4, after dinner. There was an earlier question on how long dinner would take. We usually start promptly at 6pm. According to our waitress, we eat rather quickly (typical Asian haha). The time stamp on this photo was 7:21pm. So, our dinner would have lasted about 1 hr 15 min. (6pm to 7:15 thereabouts)
Iluvcruising2 Posted December 25, 2012 Author #164 Share Posted December 25, 2012 I found this outside the Windjammer, where they put up all these plaques. Very interesting just to take a look. The Voyager's inaugural call at Hobart was 13 Nov 2012.
Iluvcruising2 Posted December 25, 2012 Author #165 Share Posted December 25, 2012 Ok, a shamless plug for my country, Singapore. Don't you think this plaque is cool? Those are supposed to be Orchids. Iluvcruising2 Posted December 25, 2012 Author #168 Share Posted December 25, 2012 (edited) The La Scala theatre at about 9pm. It was the production show tonight and it was rather full. The capacity of the threatre is 1,200. This was from Deck 4. Take note that the best seats on Deck 4 are reserved for Gold seapass card holders (GS and above, plus Pinnacle) Edited December 25, 2012 by Iluvcruising2
Iluvcruising2 Posted December 25, 2012 Author #169 Share Posted December 25, 2012 The Royal Promenade, 10:10pm. They put out interesting stuff on sale every evening. The stuff on offer does change. So, if you see something you really like at these tables, get them otherwise you may have to take another cruise to see them again.
Iluvcruising2 Posted December 25, 2012 Author #170 Share Posted December 25, 2012 I am not familiar with the prices of Baileys so I don't know whether this is a good deal. Shipboard currency is US Dollars.
Iluvcruising2 Posted December 25, 2012 Author #171 Share Posted December 25, 2012 This must have been from the Pig & Whistle. Since we were in Australia and NZ, Royal offered wines from this region.

avalon007 Posted December 25, 2012 #175 Share Posted December 25, 2012 Great pics, enjoying your review as usual. I have a question regards staff speaking English. Not sure if English is your main language but if not it's so good you wouldn't know it wasn't. :) Although in Singapore I recalled many people spoke English very well anyway. So I think you would be in a good position to judge if what has been said on other threads is correct, that many of the new Voyager Asian staff brought on board for the pre Australia cruising, do not speak english very well, causing communication problems for some passengers? Did you find this was the case?
