what ships have live steel Caribbean bands

On your recent cruise did your ship have a live Caribbean steel band? Really like the festive Caribbean feeling I get from the live band and want to book a cruise ship that definitely has one...Looks like Carnival no longer has the steel bands...

Royal Caribbean still has a 4-piece pool band. Some I've been on had real steel drums, but most use a keyboard synthesizer for the steal drum sound.

Carnival now has 2 DJs on board. One plays LOUD DISCO music on the deck! HATE that! Carnival no longer has the Caribbean bands on any of their ships. Hate it and it goes on our emailed comment card to get rid of that and bring back the 2 or 3 person Caribbean bands!

My two recent CCL cruises the closest we got was the DJ playing Bob Marley. Not quite the same as the live steele drum bands of a few years ago. Could be one reason why the sail-away parties are no so good anymore.

Celebrity has them but you're lucky if they play even one hour a day during lunch.

HAL hasn't had real steel drum bands on their ships in years.

We were just on the Carnival Conquest in August out of New Orleans and they had a wonderful steel drum band. We sat listening to them for hours on the pool deck. It was wonderful

All Royal Caribbean ships still have calypso bands on the pool deck.
