Yes Another Formal Wear Night Question!!! Just a Quick One!!

Sorry to ask yet another question on dress code for formal night but wondering if a navy blazer and grey slacks are acceptable wear for a man or would I get too many people looking down their noses at me? :D

That meets HAL's dress code for formal as long as you add a tie. Jacket and tie required.

If you wear the blazer, grey trousers and a shirt/tie, no one will look down their nose at you (or should not) as you will have complied with HAL's stated dress code.

That is exactly what my husband wore on our med cruise. With a tie. No problems. He looked a lot smarter than the men who were collecting the oddly sized spare jackets from ships wardrobe!!

I have seen lots of men wear a navy blazer with grey or tan slacks, nice dress shirt and a tie.

Thanks for the responses folks, appreciated. Yes it is my intention to wear a shirt and tie as well as underwear, socks and shoes!! :)

my husband wears a navy blazer and dress slacks...with a shirt and tie, of course! :D it save on packing his dark suit. he wears the blazer and dress loafers on the plane.

That is what my DH does also....a navy blazer, grey or tan slacks, suspenders (because he needs them!), white shirt and tie, nice dress shoes. He always looks great.......you will too!
