Rare Terre Posted March 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2013 Okay, I've searched the boards, but am just too lazy to read through reviews to find out which nights are formal on the Oasis of the Seas Western itinerary. I'm guessing Sunday and Wednesday, but just wanted to confirm. If someone can answer, I will greatly appreciate it.
JillianinMN Posted March 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2013 On western it's Sunday and Thursday.
S.A.M.J.R. Posted March 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2013 On western it's Sunday and Thursday. It's not the sea days (Wednesday instead of Thursday)? The Compass I have bookmarked from October 13, 2012 has the 2nd formal night on Wednesday.
ladypirate2012 Posted March 26, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2013 i've looked as i'm currently packing for Saturday and found it was Sunday night and Wednesday night for Western which is also the 2nd and 5th night!
Rare Terre Posted March 27, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted March 27, 2013 I thought it was typically sea days, too. I did find our calendar for scheduling entertainment and it shows Sunday and Wednesday as the formal nights. I know they can always change that, though; Jillian, did you recently get off the Oasis from a Western itinerary? How was it? Thanks for the responses. twiztid17 Posted March 27, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 27, 2013 I haven't been on a cruise sense 2005 and was with my parents don't remember to much of it to be honest. Formal nights are just for dinners in the main dining room correct?

llan1957 Posted March 27, 2013 #11 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Just back on Sunday from Last Week (western) on Oasis Sunday/Wednesday Formal,Smart casual Mon??? rest of days casual, but they do not seem to enforce any standards as far as i could see people in shorts/t-shirts and sandals i was tempted to try budgie smugglers in the end but belly over-hangs to much these days, this in main dining only. Enjoy
Husney Posted March 27, 2013 #12 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Guess I'm old what are budgie smugglers? Leaving in a month? Do I need some? Ha.
johnbob7 Posted March 27, 2013 #13 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Thursday is a sea day but Sunday isn't. I think on the Eastern Oasis itinerary Sunday is the short day at Nassau, so sailaway is at 2:00pm. So plenty of time to prep for formal if you are so inclined. We actually treated it as another sea day, having been to Nassau a few times before. bobj
llan1957 Posted March 27, 2013 #14 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Husney.. The trunks/speedo type swimwear refered to as budgie smugglers i will leave it to your imagination what the budgie is...LOL
akcruz Posted March 27, 2013 #15 Share Posted March 27, 2013 From my research formal days on western Oasis/Allure are days 2 & 5, while on the eastern routes it is days 2 & 6. For those interested, the menus switch between day 5 & 6 depending on which itinerary you are on. They are all sea days with the exception of day 2 on eastern which is the early day in Nassau. Rare Terre Posted March 28, 2013 Author #16 Share Posted March 28, 2013 That explains it...I was asking about the Western itinerary so Sun & Wed matches what I thought would be formal. Thanks everyone!
