Can they move you after they've assigned you ?

I booked a Cat G GTY cabin for a Sep 2014 cruise and was assigned a room right away. Can Oceania reassign me to another room since it is a GTY ? I like the room and hope we don't get moved unless it is a free upgrade.

Not unless you agree to it.

As you now have a cabin number, inform your TA that you do not wish to be moved & you wish to be informed about upgrade options.

With a Guarantee Booking, Oceania has the right to move you at their discretion, but a second move is fairly unlikely once you have been assigned to a stateroom.

You may be offered the chance to "buy up" into a nicer category, but the option will always be yours.
