Lemonade on Diamond Princess

Top of the afternoon to you! Father Elwood has had some issues in the past on Princess with his dietary requirements; he is unable to process carbonated beverages, so he likes to have lemonade (he doesn't like iced tea). We've had mixed experiences obtaining said lemonade on ship. We have had luck on Ruby, Star, and Coral, but not on Emerald.

 

Has anyone been on Diamond Princess within the past few months and have been able to get lemonade at the MDRs, Horizon, Explorers Lounge, Wheelhouse, etc.?

Most definitely.... we just spent 38 nights on her and you can get it anywhere. Enjoy your cruise... the Diamond is one of our favourite ships and will be on her again in December. :D

On the Star last year, lemonade was only available on the Lido. I was eating lunch in the MDR, and the people we were eating lunch with ordered lemonade and were told that it was only available at the Lido.

Interesting, seems like it is not just our bad luck! Perhaps Princess will peruse this thread and become more consistent across the fleet. That's not asking much, right?

 

Do you suppose they use the same beverages across their ships, such as iced tea and lemonade brands/ingredients?

I have only had lemonade available on any ship only in Horizon Court after 11:00 am or so.

The galley layouts on the Star are slightly different that the Diamond and may have smaller beverage dispensers with less local options for the MDR (trying to recall from a galley tour)
