Avalon - we'd like to thank you for your ongoing and timely notifications about the situation in Central Europe.

 

The necessity to cancel our cruise (June 10th departure of Austrian Highlights & Bavaria, WVP 30610, aboard the Avalon Affinity), was of course disappointing... But, it was handled in a timely fashion and most importantly, with enough advance notification to allow us to make alternative plans to visit Germany and Vienna on our own during that time.

 

Your consideration of the safety of your crews, boats, and passengers is much appreciated. Having read of other passengers whose cruise lines attempted to operate during this time, we consider ourselves very fortunate that you made this decision. We hope to cruise with you in the future!

After reading the extreme criticism of other cruise lines during this crisis, it makes me doubly glad that we have cruised on Avalon twice already and we look forward to our next one....already started saving!!!!
