No Diamond Lounge on Jewel yet, just the nightly Diamond Event.

 

Balcony dividers cannot be opened on Radiance class ships.

Jewel will apparently be the last ship (certainly the last Radiance class ship) to be revitalized and have a Diamond Lounge added. That won't happen for some time yet (perhaps not until 2016). At present, during the evening cocktail hours, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle members on Jewel can access the Concierge lounge on Deck 10 (or the Hollywood Odyssey on Deck 13, when the number of such cruisers reaches a certain level). Diamond members can attend the nightly "Diamond Event" which will take place in either the HO or the Vortex depending on the numbers of D+ and Pinnacle members on the particular cruise.

I don't believe that the dividers can be opened but that may vary according to a decision of the ship's Master.

Aww, don't be disappointed. Jewel is PHENOMENAL! Oh my goodness, the outdoor aft Windjammer seating, and the Seaview Café upstairs - magnificent!!! We were blessed to spend 18 days on her a few months back. You will love her. :)

WE plan on booking her today for Dec 2015. Hopeful they will have the event so we can enjoy the perk.
