fortinweb Posted June 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2013 With an itinerary that starts with the first full day at sea, the next three days in San Juan, St. Thomas and St. Maarten, and two more sea days, is it safe to assume that there will be only one formal night, and that on the first sea day after St. Maarten? Or might it be on the first sea day? My wife and I enjoy formal nights when we cruise on our own, but this time we will be having family and friends, some of whom aren't into the formal night, so we want to do a specialty restaurant that night. Thanks for your help.
kitty9 Posted June 9, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2013 The first formal night will be on your first day at sea. The second formal night will be the the night before your last full day, which will be the day after St Martin.

Summit does VERY port intensive cruises out of San Juan and she always has 2 formal nights. Which ship are you sailing?
