Nice photos, we stayed at the ES last Oct. when our family sailed on the Oasis of the Seas, and had a great vacation experience.

Yesterday, I canceled our res. for Hyatt Place and booked ES. For an extra $20., I figured it was worth it!:)

How far is the Holiday Inn Express from the Embassy Suites? Currently we are booked at the Hyatt Place for $109. Embassy Suites was a bit more but we are driving down and they charge $17 for parking:eek:. Parking at the Hyatt Place is free.

 

Thinking of the Holiday Inn Express but want to make sure it is walking distance from our bars. Southport Raw Bar, Kellys Landing, Biming Boatyard:) Thanks

Judi-Since 2010, and one year before that when we stayed at ES. They give you the phone # to call after you collect your Baggage, and a Van will come pick you up at the Airport. We watched the Van pass us up a time or two-LOL...,But there was no charge. It would probably be much quicker to call a taxi.

At present, ES does not pick up at the airport for free.

On Saturdays, when Oasis Of The Seas, and several other large ships are scheduled, how crowded do these (managers reception..breakfast) get? Is it hard to get a taxi? Does the atrium get REALLY loud?

We stayed at the ES last Dec on a Saturday. Manager's reception had long lines for drinks but also had 2 bar tenders serving. The breakfast got crowded after 8 AM but we are early risers and had no problems around 7. They atarted setting up at 6 AM. The atrium does get fairly noisy once the big breakfast crowd arrives! I would also advise to leave the hotel before 10 - as after that is is harder to get valets and elevators. We lucked out and took the shuttle - after planning on a cab - because it was early and the driver said he would take us straight to the ship. It was a few dollars more but he was delightful and we enjoyed the short ride with him.

That is a really good price at the Hyatt place for 109.00 and free parking - who did you book that rate with because when I Called the Hyatt they told me they charge per day unless you go with park and fly package.

The website shows 109.00 for 1 night and 119.00 for 1 night and 7 days parking, which I assume must mean 8 days parking

Wow that is a good price-when I pull it up it says 149.00 a night or park and fly 159.00 cruise package that does not include parking for 169.00---I am going in November so I guess that makes a difference

HI is really close, about 2 blocks east of ES.
