Just upgraded to a JS for the first time ever. I know that JS guests don't get CL access or reserved lounge chairs, but what are the other "perks" that you get? Also, I read somewhere that you get "expedited" luggage delivery. Does anyone know if this is true/actually happens? Thanks!

A larger cabin with walk in closet and doubles points. Not sure about the expedited luggage delivery. We seem to always have ours before or shortly after Muster Drill.

Have not heard about expedited luggage delivery.

 

JS perks: bathtub, bathroom amenities, robes, coffee and tea maker in stateroom, priority check-in, double C&A points. Many ships also have a walk-in closet in JS staterooms.

We did with our last JS but other than the color of the card it has no other special value. :)

We are doing our longest sail yet 9 days on legend and we did upgrade to a JS but not because of the size though that is nice or the perks. More because of the Aft facing Balcony, my favorite and the size of the balcony just huge !! :D

You get priority boarding also. But the room is the big perk. JS is really a nice size not only in the room but also on the balcony. It does spoil you.

I just had my first JS. All I can say is "wow"! I loved it!

 

The walk in closet is the best. I'm not sure I can go back down to a balcony and below.

 

Coffee and Tea kettle is nice, but not worth the effort to brew.

We had two lounge chairs and two chairs and a table on the deck.

Oh, and on 3 of the days we had towel animals twice a day.:D

We love to cruise in a JS its a totally awesome cabin. We just got our 1st aft JS on Explorer for our May 2014 cruise. You're going to love it! ;)

Vision class JS cabins do not have a walk-in closet. Only Radiance class and above with the exception of Quantum. Not quite sure about the closet design for the new ship.
