The veal chop I had on the Grand in April was divine. We've had many wonderful meals on our travels, but I still dream of that veal chop. I think we'll go to Sabatini's on the first night of our next cruise so I can see if the chop on the Emerald is as good.

 

Glad to hear that. We were on the Ruby and had the same feeling about veal chop. Plan to have it again when we board the Grand later this month.

Yes, the menus are impressive. However, the reality seldom lives up to the hype.

 

On our Greek Island cruise on the Ruby last month, the best meals we had were on shore.

 

Our late dining experience in Botticelli Restaurant was mediocre. Food bland and often cold, service slow, because the poor waiters have so many tables to see to. Not impressed.

We have never had anything except exceptional service and food. Although food presentation and taste is very subjective, I'm sorry yours wasn't.

Did you have early, late or anytime dining? Sometime the later the dining the slower the service, preparation and smiles.

Thanks for sharing the menus. I was wondering about sugar-free desserts and you had that information for me! I can't wait to see which sugar-free desserts my cruise will have!

Wish I was there!!! When I was stationed in Hawaii, a long time ago, It was the first place I had ever had gravy on my rice. I won't mention the weight gain.
