Going on Independence of the Seas at Easter of 2014. Hotels, motels ? Transfers from airport to hotel, port, back to airport? If we walk off with our luggage, can we make a 10:15 am flight to DC?

Going on Independence of the Seas at Easter of 2014. Hotels, motels ? Transfers from airport to hotel, port, back to airport? If we walk off with our luggage, can we make a 10:15 am flight to DC?

The flight time is a bit early for my comfort level. If you were getting off Oasis or Allure, I'd say no problem, but you have very little margin for any delay getting off Indy.

All of these topics are covered daily on this board. A little reading would reveal the 17th street is area is "best", with about 5-6 hotels. Taxis are the "best" transport method, and no, a 10:15 flight is too early.

 

Ship's transfers are almost never the best deal.
