Lost and Found - Baltimore

My smaller suitcase was partially open when I retrieved it August 2. Upon unpacking I was missing ONE shoe and my cosmetic case. I called and was told that the lost and found was only for suitcases. After I persisted a little, the woman thought she might have seen a cosmetic case. Recommended I go down to the port on ship days - either Friday or Sunday- early. Went on Friday at 9 am even though I could not even stand to be that close to the ship and not getting on!! Very nice people escorted me to the lost and found where a sweet, sweet woman handed me my cosmetic case and commiserated about my pink shoe which had indeed floated around there on debarkation day. They thought no one would come for a pink sandal that was kind of beat-up ( but I loved it) so the shoe was not there. Oh well. Another advantage to sailing from so close to home!!

Glad you got at least your cosmetics back. Was there a lock that fell off? Even though locks don't keep the thieves out, we put them on to help keep things closed. They aren't a guarantee, but they help. I bought some cheap colored zip ties that we put on all zippers except the main compartment and we never take those off. On the main compartment, we use a TSA lock but carry extra zip ties just in case we lose a lock, which we have.
