Tipping ~ Calculated "Nightly" or "Daily"

I can't believe I am posting a question about tipping, considering there about so many threads already. I have searched pretty extensively and can not seem to find the answer to this question.

 

The policy states "Royal Caribbean automatically adds a $12.00 USD gratuity ($14.25 USD for Suite Guests) to each guest’s SeaPass® account on a daily basis."

 

My question is: On a 7 night cruise, will I be paying 7 nights ($84) of tips or 8 days ($96)? I have no complaints either way, I am just running through my budget and want to make sure I got it covered!

Nights. :) Cruises are counted in nights.

You will be charged for 7 days, so in other words, it's charged nightly.

 

Although, I'm sure the crew would love for it to be 8 days. That way, they would get to double dip on the 8th day. :D

Thanks! That is what I assumed, but the wording of being added "daily" is somewhat counter intuitive to that :cool:

The last "day" isn't much of a day....they kick you off the ship as early as they can! I don't even know why departure day is counted!!!
