I just checked my savings account and found that my Tax Refund has been gathering dust there since Thursday! Just might be able to afford that nice balcony on the Radiance next year now! Pity I don't have any Future Cruise Certificates left to put a deposit on it today!

Great news for you. I have nothing from the ATO as yet, but I am patiently waiting.:D

It can be, but sometimes, they actually check more details and worse case do an audit. I am hoping it is more to do with the Accountant's processing times.:D

It is funny that we get excited over tax reurns, the word for this is:

Intaxication - the euphoria at getting a tax refund, which lasts until you realize it was your money to start with.:D

My husbands return will be spending money and shore excursions. Not enough for a whole cruise but they are few and far between until we stop paying for private education.:(

 

I thought it was funny a few years back when the government gave me money for the stimulus package. I just took it on holiday and spent it in the one place they didn't want the money to be spent China.:p

Just got word that our tax returns will only get one of us onto a cruise ship. :(

I sure will miss my wife while I am cruising.;)

When you know you will get a return, you want your hands on your own money asap.:D
