Angel Momma Posted August 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2013 Anyone know if there is food and drinks available on this island.
Daghis Posted August 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2013 Yes, the ship will provide a buffet on Coco Cay for lunch and there are plenty of bars there, too, with drinks via your SeaPass card.
leaveitallbehind Posted August 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2013 ...and per my post on your other thread, if you have the RCI Beverage Package, that can be used on Coco Cay.
karena1 Posted August 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 22, 2013 CocoCay is awesome, one of our favorites places. Beach is beautiful, water is gorgeous, snorkeling is fantastic. Lunch is ribs/chicken/hotdogs, hamb and tons of fixings, salad, etc. Probably at least 4 or 5 bars, band will play, just a great day. Lots of beach to walk on, nature trail if you want. Local straw market. We get on the first tender out and they have to throw us off on the last tender back. :D
sky0000547 Posted August 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 22, 2013 What a lovely little private island. Food for lunch is cooked on the ship and brought onto the island.
karena1 Posted August 22, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 22, 2013 What a lovely little private island. Food for lunch is cooked on the ship and brought onto the island. Not all of it, hamburgers and hot dogs are cooked right on the grill on the island. The rest, you are right, cooked and brought out to the island. Leafwinnie Posted August 22, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 22, 2013 What time of the year did you all go to Cococay? We'll be there in December, will it be too cold to go into the water at that time?

mike45orlando Posted August 23, 2013 #11 Share Posted August 23, 2013 Not a slam on Coco Cay. We love it. Always keep in mind to eat as soon as the lunch opens up because of a serious fly issue when the tin foil comes off all the food.
Rare Lionesss Posted August 25, 2013 #12 Share Posted August 25, 2013 Have never been to Coco Cay, having only sailed western routes on RCI. This year looking at doing Eastern on Freedom. So tell me...... Is there a lot of beach space to set up your stuff or is it crowded that you have to be early off the ship to get a good spot. If you had the choice of doing Jet skis or snorkling which is better....or is there time to do both? Are the tenders painful....I mean slow and long lines? Are their beach games, volleyball and such? Tell Me anything else. Thanks Sea Ya
