Actually, I agree with the poster. The last time I checked, smoking was legal in the US. First off, I am not a smoker. I am sensitive to smoker's. However, it is Royal Caribbean's policy to allow smoking in part of the casino and in certain areas on the pool deck. As I am sensitive to smoke, it is my responsibility to avoid those areas that might be a problem for me. Just as it is the smokers responsibility to smoke in only designated areas. If I don't like the policy, I can go elsewhere - smoker/non smoker alike.

 

I do have a question though, why is this getting blamed on the "Baby boomers"? Has anyone throughout this whole thread mentioned their age?

We have cancelled all three cruises we had scheduled for 2014 and today got confirmation that our 2013 Christmas Cruise is cancelled.

 

This cruise on the Allure is our last planned RCI Cruise!

 

Good for you Trainman! Can't wait for you to turn us on to a new cruise line!
