Jim: Thanks so much for your "LIVE" report and all the pictures! It's hard to believe tonight is your last night on the ship. Tomorrow morning, they will certainly kick you both to the curb! It went so quick for us, I can just imagine how quickly it passed for the 2 of you! Enjoy your last evening, and I am hoping you take some pictures at the Samba Grill. I am looking forward to our first night on our Allure cruise, and taking advantage of our coupon for D+, BOGO free! I want to go to Samba, but may save that for later in the cruise, and use our coupon at one of the other specialty restaurants.

Day 8, Sunday, 15 Sep 2013, The Long Drive Home to the Puppies

 

Good Morning Everyone,

 

I woke up early, I guess I am excited about getting home.

 

The WiFi was down when I got up but it is up and running now. They advertised that it would be up until 8 am today.

 

The WiFi has been excellent. Not a single problem all week. Being able to sign up from anywhere was really nice. No more going to the computer room to create an account!

 

 

I shot this photo on the Promenade as we walked forward to Samba's last night.

Without a doubt, the best thing about Samba's is the basket of little cheese rolls they place on your table just after you are seated.

 

The first photo has a fork for size comparison.

Samba's has a First Class Salad Bar with all kinds of nifty stuff.

 

The best, according to me, is the chilled boiled shrimp that has already been peeled for us.
