My list for upcoming 10 day cruise

1 swim suit

2 Shorts

2 t shirts

2 polo shirts

2 long sleave shirts for dinner

1 pair of slacks for dinner

1 sport coat for dinner

3 pairs of shoes 1running, 1 sandals 1 dress

Undies ? guess;)

4-5 books

i pod

toothbrush & tooth paste

ball cap

money

ID

small backpack for hiking on islands

sunglasses

That is it. No emergency carry on bag. If they loose my luggage then I have money to replace my toothbrush and books and use the laundry. I can do everything else with the clothes I wear on.

I love cruising!

Am I the only one worried about so few clothes yet no deordorant or antiperspirant? Sometimes you have to think of your fellow guests on board especially with the intention of hiking.

WOW... besides bringing your whole medicine cabinet... this list of things to bring is a bit out of date!! for example:

Rolls of Film??

Floppies??

CD/Cassette Walkman???

Not to mention that it says $2 bills and the new $1 coins for tips and a guy asked about doing something like that and half of cc lost their minds on his 'gimmicky' tips lol.

You are taking a flashlight, maybe you don't need a night light? Does you Swiss army knife have a corkscrew?

I HATE not to have something I need so I overpack and don't care. I don't see cold/flu, or Imodium on your list. Also, aloe for sunburn

One thing I do is dispense everything possible into tiny ziplocks or small salad dressing containers and toss when empty. I bring the exact amount of shampoo and conditioner, etc. I wrap ducktape around a yellow colored pencil to use as a highlighter and emergency tape if needed. I try to pack so I can bring home less containers if possible.
