Kettles in staterooms ?

Being a newbie we just wanted to know if you get a kettle in your balcony stateroom (D1) on The Independence of the Seas . Also any storage advice would be good. Many thanks

Yes, kettle in all cabins onboard (from insides to suites) coffee machines in JS and higher as we'll. :)

Are you sure Tassie Cruiser? I've not been on a ship with a kettle, including RCL, Celebrity, Princess.

Was in a balcony stateroom on Independence in March 2013. There was not a kettle in the cabin. As I recall from reading prior to that cruise, somethings are in the cabin while she is on Europe but not while she is sailing US/Caribbean.

AFAIK in General kettles are only in JS and up. On certain sailings from UK ports, maybe downunder as well (IDK), they provide kettles in all rooms to cater to the UK Pax.

Are you sure Tassie Cruiser? I've not been on a ship with a kettle, including RCL, Celebrity, Princess.

Our experience has been that we've had an electric tea kettle in our JS on all RCI ships we've been on.

All the RCI ships I've sailed on from UK had kettles in the room. And Tetley tea bags.

on ships departing from UK they will put kettles in all cabins. enough complaints from 'locals' made that happen.

 

otherwise if it leaves from the US no kettles or coffee pot unless in a full suite.
