cruiseguy4567 Posted November 21, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2013 Bring it on via carry-on, not in your luggage. Can drink in the cabin or by the glass at dinner. Full bottles are subject to a corkage fee in the MDR.
leaveitallbehind Posted November 21, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2013 It is also only allowed once at original port of embarkation. You cannot do it at subsequent ports of call on your itinerary. Any alcohol brought on then will be held for you until the last night before disembarkation. leaveitallbehind Posted November 21, 2013 #7 Share Posted November 21, 2013 Here's a question for you...................can you open the bottle in your cabin and then bring the bottle to the MDR? No but you can bring a glass. The bottle if brought with you could be subject to the corkage fee. You can have the bottle anywhere on board that is not a venue that serves alcohol and not pay the corkage fee. A glass of wine can be carried anywhere. Clarea Posted November 21, 2013 #8 Share Posted November 21, 2013 Here's a question for you...................can you open the bottle in your cabin and then bring the bottle to the MDR? The corkage fee should be called a service charge. You are subject to the charge when you bring your wine (corked our uncorked) to any restaurant or bar. Clarea Posted November 21, 2013 #11 Share Posted November 21, 2013 Gotcha!!!!!!!.....makes sense Best thing to do is to fill your wine glasses to the very top and take those to the dining room. No fees for glasses of wine.
