Cancellation and full deposit refund

How many months can you get your full deposit back without any penalty before a sail date?

It varies by whether or not it is a "holiday" cruise or not. Could be 75 days, could be 90 days.

 

Also varies by what country you live in/booked in. The numbers above are for US.

I am in the US. Not a holiday cruise, a summer Mediterranean cruise.

You have a final payment date which is 75 days before your cruise. This can be found by accessing your reservation on the Celebrity website, and probably also on your confirmation. Up until that date, you can cancel and get your deposit back. Hope that's clear and what you were asking.

Yup, basically, in the US you get full refund up to the Final Full Payment date. That includes any prepaid excursions and other reservations.

 

Buts watch out, I was so use to this, it being pretty standard for cruise lines, I made a reservation for a land-river cruise and cancelled 8 months before the cruise and lost my deposit. Ouch.

 

Read what it says especially if you use one of the 'Discount' sites. Those sites have different rules then the actual Lines sometimes.

Most river cruise companies have penalties for cancellation and some require you to pay in full within a short time of when you book. River cruises are a very different animal....
