maureencruiser Posted December 15, 2013 Author #126 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Hey, there's that same girl, now she has a beef with the tuba player. Betty Boop, again. Some great costumes.

maureencruiser Posted December 15, 2013 Author #129 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Candy Cane Ladies! You know when you see Santa, the parade is over. So, I got to see the Macy's Parade while standing under blue skies in 75 degree weather. Eat your heart out, MPoole! So, it was 6:00 now, the bus leaves at 7:00, just enough time for a little shopping before I leave. The Minion lady's husband likes Betty Boop, so, I took a few pics for him. Now, on to serious shopping, time to get what I came here for. Nothing ever says Maureen on it. Seriously, I have only found my name on one thing my entire life. When I was in 4th grade, I went to Disneyland (with Rex Trailer and Sergeant Billy, for any of you in the Boston area) and they had a green notepad with my name on it. I still have it. maureencruiser Posted December 15, 2013 Author #130 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Seriously, they have Jett, Jaxson and Jaden spelled two different ways (Jayden), but, no Maureen! The Diamond Club ran out of wine for 10 minutes and this happened. It was dark as I made my way back to the bus. I took a few more pictures for my Minion friend. maureencruiser Posted December 15, 2013 Author #131 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Our bus was delayed a little because we had a window that would not shut. By the time we got back to the ship, I was starving! After all that, I still had room for double strawberry cheesecake and pistachio ice cream with almonds, shaved chocolate and chocolate sauce. Don't judge me! After dinner, they had the Millionaire game, can't think what they called it. When I finally got back to my cabin, I had a few things waiting for me. A crystal block! I have heard of these, but, I never received one before. It was heavy. Apparently, I reached 140 points on my 3rd day on the ship.
maureencruiser Posted December 15, 2013 Author #132 Share Posted December 15, 2013 So, I headed out for a few minutes and left my camera in my room. I sure hope there was no tomfoolery or shenanigans while I was out! Oh, you guys checked out my block, well, there's nothing wrong with that. Oh, you wiped your butts on it, you think that's funny? See, this is why we can't have nice things! Well, that's nice, smiling proudly. At least you didn't let any strangers into the cabin. Guys, I said no strangers! Well, at least it can't get any worse. Oh, Hell no!! I sent them all to bed!
KeywestK Posted December 15, 2013 #133 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Love, love, loving your review, Maureen! Keep it coming. And BTW, I would never judge a fellow dessert-aholic. After all, it's what makes life worth living.....well, along with red wine, of course;):D

I knew you would post eventually:D! So very glad to hear from you and still hoping to sail with you in the very near future! Maybe we could share a room to cut the cost. Hmm? I would not get in your way and you would be able to do whatever you wanted to do at any time. Think about it ok. I have met some very interesting people online and I travel with a group from time to time called "bead Brigade". You can check with them as to if I am legit. Just saying and no pressure but just something to think about and store away for the future. Edited December 16, 2013 by Stella777

Why the BB, do you all make jewelry or something? I don't know when I can cruise again, finances are really tight. Unless someone wants to start a FB group, Let's Send Maureen on a Cruise! At least there's a possibility of finding your name on a souvenir. ;):p:D OK, Since you brought it up, how did your parents come up with that name? I've never seen Wrona before. Before I knew that was your name, when I would see your posts, I called you Warp. :o
maureencruiser Posted December 16, 2013 Author #142 Share Posted December 16, 2013 The next day, Monday, was Nassau, Bahamas . We would be there from about 2pm till midnight. The plan was to go to the Fish Fry, maybe hit the Daiquiri Shack and then find some wifi. The plan did not work out. I started with breakfast at the Windjammer. Their eggs were good, just like the Jewel and the Enchantment. Why were the eggs on Allure so terrible? While waiting to arrive, I watched the Thriller dance rehearsal. I also decided that rather than go to the Fish Fry first, I should head directly to find wifi , so, I could get that out of the way while it was still light out. I asked Darryl where to go and he said Starbucks had the best wifi. They are on a side street (Charlotte?) on the way to the straw market, directly across from the Hard Rock Cafe. They charge $3 an hour and I thought I should buy something as well. Aaah, the things I do for you people! :D Well, downloading pics and cutting and pasting took me longer than I thought. I was there for 3 hours and now, it was 6:00, it was dark and I hadn't had lunch yet. As I headed back to the ship to drop off my laptop, I noticed all the stores were closing. I decided to just go back and stay on the ship. I didn't know if the Fry stayed open late, anyway. Lady G at night.

Before I knew that was your name, when I would see your posts, I called you Warp. :o You can call me warped. Lots of people do.;) Wrona is a family name, used every 2-3 generations going back over 400 years. Before me it was most recently my great grandfather's name, who said it was a girl's name and went by something else:p. That family was from Prussia but Wrona is a (not even common there) surname in Poland so it probably a long ways back came from there.
maureencruiser Posted December 16, 2013 Author #144 Share Posted December 16, 2013 (edited) The view from the ship. That red triangle you can kind of see to the right is Senor Frogs. Front St, completely deserted. Since I was at the WJ before they opened, I decided to take some pics before the food was decimated. Cheese Jenga! My bread! maureencruiser Posted December 16, 2013 Author #145 Share Posted December 16, 2013 Mmmm desserts! Salads. I got Chicken Parmigiana and penne. This is Yo-Yo, they put out milk for breakfast and lunch, not dinner, so, she would get me two cartons as soon as she saw me walk in. I would go to my usual spot and the milk would be waiting for me. She hugged me three times the last night and 4 times the next morning. Much like a Yo-Yo, she kept coming back to me!
maureencruiser Posted December 16, 2013 Author #146 Share Posted December 16, 2013 I was so hungry, I went back for more, it was Alfredo sauce this time. Wow, I ate a ton of pasta on this cruise! I guess I'm carb-loading for the winter. And, much like Turtle, I am a cheap date! After dinner was the aerial show in the Centrum. They were going to do it twice. I decided to watch it the first time from Deck 7 and take pics then watch it again from a lower deck and just enjoy it, no pictures. The little platform the performers stand on to get ready. Getting rigged up. That final step off must be scary.
maureencruiser Posted December 16, 2013 Author #147 Share Posted December 16, 2013 The show was Seasons and began with Winter. It began to snow in the Centrum! Because it was dark, and they had big spotlights, my pics didn't come out very well, sorry! Now, time for spring showers.

maureencruiser Posted December 16, 2013 Author #149 Share Posted December 16, 2013 Summer was the RC singers and dancers, which gave the aerialists time to change into their fall costumes. Fall was mostly done on bungee cords, all four performers "falling" at the same time. They moved soooo fast, I couldn't get pics, their leaves made it look like they were on fire. maureencruiser Posted December 16, 2013 Author #150 Share Posted December 16, 2013 This is even cooler than the leaves! Here you can see all four fires at once! Returning to his perch.
