Thanks for the interesting article. I love the part where the lawyers talk about new the handheld infrared system that can detect a person in the water who has gone overboard and the cost being minimal. Unless it is made mandatory I feel there could be many a liable suit by folks suing the cruise lines for numerous reasons such as not using it quickly enough etc.

I would imagine Crystal Cruise Line was not even considered in the article I posted. Best for the money they said was Royal. I can't find any of those deals. Best for my money and having a Boston based ship is NCL.

Very interesting news story. Congrats to NCL and hopefully other cruise lines will wake up and start treating passengers better when things go wrong on a large scale during the cruise vacation (ie fires, technical malfunctions, etc).

Nice job Mr. Sheehan and NCL... I guess my resent cancelling of a CCL cruise and re-booking with NCL might be a good decision.:D
