The breakway won't be making it to the private island this trip because of high swells forecasted for tomorrow. The ship is at 100% capacity so this should be interesting. Everyone will have been there, done that as far as entertainment by tomorrow.

I think it's an exaggeration that everyone on the ship will have exhausted the entertainment choices on the ship by Wednesday.

All lines operating their '' own little island'' in the Bahamas encounter the same ongoing issue. ;; wind-related missed calls are routine.

Overall, over the past few seasons, the odds of making your Bermuda Island stop are ~~ 65%.

 

I suggest nobody would like ''plan *B* '' ( getting there , drop anchor in spite of strong swells and/or good size waves and/or strong winds, and perform a very high risk tender operation with guests,crew and supplies....and repeat same a few hours later to get back to the ship, line up to get everybody & everything on board, etc.etc.etc....)....IMO, there is NO ''plan*B**''when it comes to Mother Nature...:eek:

I find it hard to believe that you have already done EVERYTHING on the breakaway! I know missing GSC stinks, but enjoy the amazing amenities onboard.

We also missed GSC last month, but it there was plenty to do (and eat) onboard. Breakaway seems to miss GSC often.

Seems like they miss it more often than not - we had booked a large cabana soon after they were built, and for only $249! Bummed we missed it.

I rented a clam shell on Grand Turk for $30 for the day on the Miracle a few years ago. It gave us some nice shade from the hot sun. I was happy.
