Kettles on Brilliance of the Seas?

Recommended Posts

Will there be a kettle, tea, coffee and milk in our balcony cabin on Brilliance of the Seas or should we plan to take our own?

If Brilliance is sailing from the UK, then there will be kettles in all staterooms. If not sailing from the UK, then kettles are only in JS category and above.

you cannot bring you own on board unless it is a French press style( no electricity. if the ship departs from Southampton all cabins will have a kettle. if not, only GS and up will.

milk is non dairy creamer, any milk milk must be gotten from RS or the Windjammer.

So we'll have a kettle and non-dairy milk, great. What about tea bags and coffee sachets? Just wondering whether we need to pack our own.

They have tea bags, but the selection is spotty at best. I always bring my own.

Tetley tea bags available on sailings out of UK plus other flavoured ones, no coffee sachets.

A small jar of coffee doesn't take up too much room in the luggage:)

It's Lipton in the US (very weak) so maybe bring a few Tea Bags in a Ziplock bag.

That's what we do.

there are those that say the stuff provided is NOT real tea( or coffee). you can get a decent variety of tisanes, herbals and English breakfast in the buffet. or you can bring your own if you have a particular favorite brand. the coffee we find is adequate until we can get to a 'real' cup. then again lots of people say the stuff served on board for free is crap.... ;)
