Oceania Suite Restaurant Reservations

I think I read somewhere that being in an OS gives additional specialty restaurant reservations. Does anyone know if this applies to 7-day cruises, or just longer ones?

Are you talking about the Owner's Suite or the Oceania Suite?

 

It may not matter. We were in an Oceania Suite (OC) recently. It was an 18 day cruise so we were entitled to two reservations in each restaurant. For shorter cruises, we would have gotten only one reservation per restaurant.

 

My impression has been that an Owner's Suite doesn't get more reservations than the other top suites (OS/VS/OC).

 

We only booked about 7 specialty restaurants on our cruise and ended up cancelling at least one of them. We did order in to our suite on two nights from Jacques and Polo, and did several dinners in the GDR -- because we happen to like it.

Here's the setup

 

Number of reservations (Marina and Riviera):

Owner's Suite, Vista Suite, Oceania Suite

0-7 Sailing Days: 1 reservation at each restaurant

8-17 Sailing Days: 2 reservations at each restaurant

18+ Sailing Days: 3 reservations at each restaurant

 

Looks like you're a day short for 2 reservations. Your butler should be able to maybe get you some extras, ours did.

Thanks - yes, should have made it clear, we're looking at an Oceania suite and are stuck with a 7 day sailing because of the itinerary. Hopefully we may be able to get a second reservation at our favourite specialty restaurant via the butler as you suggest..

You can order from any or all the specialty restaurants to be served in your suite course by course. You will have a nice table in any Oceania suite and it can be very enjoyable.

Aha, thank you, I do remember reading that we could order in but had somehow not related that to the Specialty Restaurants. Now I am happy!
