Flip Flops

Would flip flops be OK for Dress Casual nights with a pair of capris??

I know the capris are fine, but not sure about the flip flops.

On a caribbean cruise I live in flip flops, except of Formal Nights.

'Fancy' flip flops are good. Rubber wear-around-the-pool ones are not.

Agreed. Something that is more of a thong style sandal as opposed to a rubber flip flop is fine.

I see you are sailing HAL, so I will direct this to HAL standards. I would wear thong sandals to the dining room, but not the rubber/foam $1 store flip flops. Now I have seen ladies wearing the platform flip flops (foam 2" soles) with the sequined straps to the dining room. I think that is the bare minimum you could wear and look ok. I hope this helps! :D

I wouldn't wear the top pair. I would consider the middle pair, but I'm not sure if my work will count those as flip flops this summer. The last pair, I wear to work regularly and will likely wear to dinner.

And, yes, orange is my favorite color!

Flip flops are wonderfully comfortable for the beach and town trips...they do NOT belong in dining rooms unless you can do the shuffle walk and cut down on "the Flip Flop " sound!![/QUOT

Ouch!!! Thank you?????? LOL

Agree with this. I would only wear flip flops if they were leather and/or "bedazzled".
