I was just on RC freedom of the seas in oct, No coffee card. And its been awhile for carnival but I have lots of friends that go on carnival and no coffee card there either.

Well, that's too bad for them, then. Princess's coffee card lowers the cost of the specialty coffee drinks over buying them individually. Seems like you're about to get a much better deal than you've had before; I don't know why you continue to bemoan the existence of something that will actually save you money.

Perhaps not a coffee card, but you do still pay for specialty coffee drinks. You just pay individually instead of having the option of a card.
